At almost 450,000 SF of removal and replacement, this parking lot project took the crews about 2 weeks to complete. All trades work together from one end of the site to the other, constantly in motion like dominoes. With non-essential projects resuming from the NY Pause, crews resume round the clock efforts to catch up and maintain project schedules. This routine is normal for the crews in peak season as they do what it takes in our industry that is seasonal and highly dependent on weather conditions. Very proud of our crew.

This project spanned from Albany Shaker Road to D’Alessandro Blvd directly in front of the Albany International Airport. The scope of work included surface milling, heat scarification, asphalt polymer overlay and epoxy pavement markings. The project also involved a storm structure reconstruction and additional parking stalls for cell phone lot.

Coordinating in public areas is often a challenge, so the crew started this project after hours and worked to complete the milling and prep work through the night for this local area mall. The 140,000 square foot parking lot was completely milled and prepped for the paving the crew in one day.
