New Troy One Monument Square developer proposes housing, park and commercial space

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — There have been 6 failed attempts to reboot a section of One Monument Square, but developer Luizzi Companies is coming in with a new project proposal that has a more than a $50 million investment.

Troy received $19 million in the New York State Budget to go towards the square. That will work as part of the total investment that combines state, city and private money to redevelop the waterfront and connect the plaza.
